Indigenize Your Eyes, Boulder, CO

  • Developed mentorship program for Native American youth with photography workshops taught by myself and Josue Rivera giving students cameras and skills to capture their unique perspective

  • Curated student work for 5 exhibits displayed during Indigenous People’s Day in Downtown Boulder with multiple indoor and outdoor galleries including the Boulder Library and Boulder Museum

  • Designed project website to highlight student collection of work: http://www.indigenizeyoureyes.org/

  • Secured over $15k in grant funding and acquired permits for outdoor exhibits


Windows into Lafayette History, Lafayette, CO    

May 2018-July 2018

  • Secured grant from Lafayette Arts and partnered with local gallery The Collective to create interactive history exhibit for children and adults

  • Designed exhibit so participants could use QR codes, take an historical quiz with personalized profiles based on Lafayette’s key figures, and facilitated patron engaging photo exhibits

  • Developed a summer curriculum for youth within a residential treatment center focused on framing photography as a creative outlet for self expression with both technical and conceptual material

  • Lessons focused on blending traditional therapies with innovative educational modalities cumulating with a final gallery show


  • Created an interactive portraiture lesson for Innovation class at Peak to Peak Charter School focused on digital portraiture and self-expression

  • Used 10 cameras and photo printer to help students create unique and dynamic portraiture that illuminated a hidden character trait
